My website isn't working properly. My website began to display an error after a WordPress update: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting ‘)' on line 225 of /wp-includes/post.php
I've heard that could be a theme issue, but I'm not sure. The website's theme was created by another company to which I outsourced this task. It's difficult for me to solve this because I'm still learning WordPress and don't know anything about PHP.
Is there any way I can fix it on my own?]]>falseFrancescoHEHE]]>2021-10-28T11:12:42Z2021-10-28T11:12:42Zhttps://www.webhostingask.com/showthread.php?tid=115Hello,
I upgraded from 16.04 to 18.04.1 with no apparent problems (hosted on a 1&1 dedicated server)
This server hosts a number of Joomla!-powered websites.
Had to restart MySQL server, and then there was no more response from MySQL server.
Unfortunately (ie none of our sites are running now)
I tried stopping and restarting the MySQL server with no success.
Tried re-configuration with :
Code:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure mysql-server-5.7
Got this message after re-configuration :
Code:
Checking if update is needed.
This installation of MySQL is already upgraded to 5.7.35, use --force if you still need to run mysql_upgrade
It also didn't help... I'm not too familiar with MySQL server (I've installed it several times and never had a problem... I've used it without incident) but now I'm at a loss!
Has anyone got any suggestions for what I should do?
If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to ask (please dive me the bash command to enter, as I am not fluent in Bash?)
Thank you in advance for your assistance and advice.]]>falseDorothy Thin]]>2021-10-28T08:04:48Z2021-10-28T08:04:48Zhttps://www.webhostingask.com/showthread.php?tid=114Hello guys I have a VPS with whm cpanel and a few customers on it about 3 of my customers using DHRU script they are having HTTP 500 problem some times and it become resolved when they change the PHP version and like to 7.3 and then back to 7.4 or even stay on 7.3 I need to know the solution for this issue any idea??

Regarding the Windows VPS with IIS and SQL Server Express.
After being burned by a VPS service in the past (complete system crash), I am hoping that technology has improved.
Do any of the VPS hosting providers provide a full backup and restore service, including data and operating system, at a reasonable price on low-end VPS packages?
I need to be able to perform ad-hoc backups of the entire system so that I can restore from them if the entire machine crashes and I lose my VPS.
Thanks!]]>falseSienna1790]]>2021-10-21T02:52:36Z2021-10-21T02:52:36Zhttps://www.webhostingask.com/showthread.php?tid=112Hello, I have a question about two Ubuntu images. One of the caveats is that the CDN controls remote deletions, etc. via a remote PHP script.
It appears that most CDNs do not permit the execution of PHP.]]>falsehyporossi]]>2021-10-02T04:40:11Z2021-10-02T04:40:11Zhttps://www.webhostingask.com/showthread.php?tid=108I require your assistance. I'm going to rent a VPS with cpanel soon. I'm going to get 8GB of RAM, a 4core CPU, and a 120GB SSD in New York. I'll set up a slew of websites to handle the traffic. I'll start with at least $1,000 and work my way up to $100,000 per month.
I have another virtual private server that I use to send marketing emails. It has 2GB of RAM, but I could increase it to 4GB if I needed to install mysql separately from my cpanel vps to handle the traffic. Do I need to install a mysql database on the email server I use to send emails in order to get database updates for the open and clicks tracker?
The issue is that if the server goes down, I won't be able to get the database updated when someone opens and clicks on one of my emails. I could use my cpanel vps to update the database while running a lot of traffic on my websites, but this can cause a lot of stress on the server, causing it to go offline, and thus the database will not be updated.
Do you think it's best if I get a Web hosting that already has mysql so I can use it to keep the emails opens and clicks tracker updated on a database separate from my two servers?
What do you think is the best thing I could do?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.]]>falseEnzoengine690]]>2021-10-01T09:37:29Z2021-10-01T09:37:29Zhttps://www.webhostingask.com/showthread.php?tid=107I'm learning how to use Linux. I've set up two Centos 7 virtual machines. I'd like to move files between these two CentOS VMs.
To keep it simple, I log in as root with the same password on both machines. Both machines are pinging each other (network established).
I turned off the firewall on both machines. The FTP package is installed and operational on both machines. However, when I enter the command ftp &tip address of other machine&t, I receive the error "connection refused." This has something to do with authorizations.
But if I'm using root as a user, what's the problem? What am I doing wrong?]]>falsealessandrotrendy]]>2021-09-30T07:38:42Z2021-09-30T07:38:42Zhttps://www.webhostingask.com/showthread.php?tid=106I have a domain hosted in Centos 7 that we have installed in an ec2 instance. There was an issue in the Google warning a few weeks ago, and now we have uploaded the new fresh website files to the folder of the Centos 7 servers, but when I go to the edge browser, it gives a http 500 error. We have checked the domain.conf files, and they appear to be correct, but it still gives the error.
Can someone assist me in resolving the issues?]]>false
